I RODE A HORSE NAMED TOMA Poem by ETERNITY
I was ready to ride
From afar, I'd watched the horses play in stride Some charged forward Some stayed away . I kept my eyes on a stud He nuzzled the fillies Never aggressive but stayed A little silly . He played nice and gentle So when the urges grew strong The fillies went to him And Tom sired many a throng . When I could no more resist That hunger to mount My choice was none other I knew on Tom I could count . Tom was calm but Tom was persistent When I urged him to run, he would walk I saw him step carefully to avoid the snakes I swear, that horse could almost talk! . I rode him to the barn to dress him down We were drenched with his passion and my sweat I was ready to leave when Tom said to me, "Never put a good stallion up wet."
