JULIANA Poem by ETERNITYWHAT A DELICIOUS GAME
JULIAN
A Poem by Desiree' " STILL FRAGRANT MEMORIES " He crosses my mind frequently A bright comet blazing through galaxies The heat of him pulls me into the stream I recall Once Upon A Dream of him Loneliness weighted my heavy heart I'd traveled through time to make a new start When out of a blinding light he called to me "If you want freedom, Then Come to Me!" His eyes are crystal blue diamonds beckoning, "If you desire mystery, then follow me!" I looked for him diligently to hear him say, "If you need what I offer, just come this way." Into his jet stream, I anxiously went To be by his side, I was hell-bent We dwelt hours each day, till he'd weigh, "If you want ecstasy, Come on and play!" I gave Julian my all, he gave me emptiness I jumped at his call, he wanted me to undress He needed acrobatics before he could satiate I was too shy so I asked a Neighbor instead to play It all was a joke. I expected Julian to laugh, "I'm not angry, Do not fear my wrath." But Julian does not take to joking easily And in no time at all he was done with me. Now, as I said, Julian oft' crosses my mind He still is a dream, I am not so blind But the games are not Julian's cup of tea If he says he is lonely, then send him to me Blood games will suit him for they are binding He'll relent to my urging without all that whining I want those blue crystals on my silver chain And until I get them, we will do this again. ![]() © 2026 ETERNITY |
