Go Ask Mommy

Go Ask Mommy

A Poem by ETERNITY

Since I was a tiny kid, I always had questions,
"Daddy? Why does everybody wait
until the snow lands on the dirty ground?"
Daddy sat me on his knee,
"Because if they try to catch it falling,
it will disappear."
"And Daddy? Why does the girl dog stay
but the boy dog always runs?"
Daddy said, "Go ask your mother."
Mommy heard from her boudoir,
"I will answer if I can.
It is because," I strained my ears,
"He is a man."
