Under The Red Umbrella

Under The Red Umbrella

A Poem by BrookieV1986
"

Driving to work one morning, I witnessed a woman on the deck with three small children. It was starting to get warm after a long winter and it made me want to be home, spending time with my children.

"
Under the red umbrella on the sun-warmed deck a mother and three small blond-haired children danced. Their hair waved in the summer breeze, the clouds above blue, the sun bright and warm, their smiles contagious. I thought, what a moment. My heart longing for the peace of a summer day with your young children happy, healthy, and safe.
