BlanketedA Poem by BrookieV1986Come along on a walk with me on a snowy nightI like to be out at night when the world is dreaming hushed, serene, tranquil. Moonlight peeking through a gray haze of powdery snowfall. I hold out my hand to feel their soft, cold kisses and watch them melt, warmed by my skin. I witness their twinkle, like stars spilled across the ground. It is in this moment that I feel serenity within the stress of the day fading away, my soul embracing the solace of the night. I begin my slow walk home, blanketed in a comfort only the night can give me.
