I'm just ranting about haw not awesome school is. I'm so excited! I only have 19 days left of school! SUMMER!!!!

Trapped in classrooms

Forced to learn things

that we probably will not use in life.

 

When will you need the qudratic equation

When you want to work with animals?

Why do you need to count atoms

If you're dream is to become a writer?

 

Some teachers

Cannot handle certain students

So they penalize the entire class

Someone tell me

What is the point of that?

 

We wait and wait until summer

Only to find out

After three terrific months

We have to go back

Good to see that the delima continues, its what we learn from and apply to our lives that equate an answer. Life inspires, I like that.

lol You're telling me! I'm a senior! These are the absolute longest weeks of my life!
But back to your poem...
It wasn't much of a poem.It's not a bad thing though. I see this more as prose. And I say that because there really isn't a poetic flow or structure here. Which in it's own way adds to the feeling of frustration and impatience. It would have been harder to convey that with rhyme and meter and so forth. This piece was something that many people can relate to and have probably been thinking since school began. I know I have. Salvation is at hand! But anyhoo, I enjoyed this. Thanx for writing!
