How can it be

Addicted to something

You never had

 

Long for it

To the point where

It poisons your veins

 

Slowly quietly

It begins to take over

This unholy desire

 

You gasp for breathe

But how can you run away

From your own thoughts

 

Can thou’st control thyself?

Nay because I willest to drown

In my own contemplations
