That HurtsA Poem by Footprints al carbonReal intention comes from understanding.
To begin to write something that hurts,
you first must make a choice, do you wish to give flight to harm, or does your wish give harm in flight? A type of pain that runs from fear, or in courage that would stand fast, choose your words to infect the ear, when they arrive they're sure to last. So weigh the cause and the effect, that your message seeks to find, and as you write the blood will flow, just like in the hearer's mind. Will you mark your tone with truth? That cuts between the jointed bone, and causes pain within the soul, to say what can't be left alone. Or will your wounds infected now, give poison for your venomous bite? Disturbing every soul enraged, that would slay the egotist's might.
