Ribbons of Color

At the beginning of love...

Ribbons of color radiate all over me
When I dream of us together
Making a life of passionate love,
Sharing a world of adventure.

I see us inside each other,
Hearts aflame, souls merging,
And I will never look back
Our future will be dazzling.

Ribbons of color radiate all over me
As I simply enjoy the dream of you,
Rejoicing having you near me.
This dream will someday come true.
 
I only know that the whole world
Begins to tumble up and around,
Whenever I think about losing you

And then I hit the ground.

Ribbons of color radiate all over me
Like the brightest star in the sky,
I'll shine brightly, wishing you'd believe
And say that you'll give our love a try.

I can promise to give you all of me,
To love, to play with, and to explore
A sensuous lady and I am all yours.

For you to conquer and adore.

In your arms I am at home with you
Happy holding you, wanting to believe--
That you love and dream of me too.

Another romantic masterpiece! Your man must love to read this stuff! I can just see the ribbons of color (the font type helps LOL) and I love the 'dream theme'. My favorite paragraph:

this is a pretty poem, but something about it doesnt feel consistant to me. i think the stanzas need to be a little more crisp. maybe stick with a rhythm or rhyme scheme. something just feels off. but the thought is nice. i liked it. i also like the title and its repitition.
