Portraying memories

Portraying memories

A Poem by blackbelief

It's the little things you know,
like when you played in the snow.
You remember the snow ball fights,
and forget about the cold.

It's like watching reflections
in the river, across the crowded cityscape,
Or silhouettes of boats,
carrying old men in the lake.

It's like the beauty of the girl,
you fell in love with.
You remember the footsteps,
the mud-stains, but a bokeh in your memory.

A very lyrical poem. Great images . . . nicely done.

Not sure what a bokeh is.
