Shackles

Shackles

A Poem by Alexis suzzanne

Shackles, they are chains of human selfishness designed by our lifeless hands
but as long as we keep saying imagination
is the dream all humans have but to much of a coward to seek it out.... well i believe that shackles are the keepers of secrets of self absorbtion not jelousy or self hate just little
tid bits of the imagination that hold us back form other things like love.

I thought the concept of your poem was very innovative and original too. You might want to proof read it again. The meter was a little rough but I was able to follow your thoughts with no problem. Keep on writing.

God Bless.
