be happy

It is summer here,

time to enjoy the sun,

Fruits are in season,

Flowers are in bloom.

 

I want to thank God,

for the things received,

the love and grace

which continuously pours in.

 

Everything about the

hurtful past

should be set aside,

best forgotten.

 

It is a time,

to enjoy Nature,

as what God

wants us to do.

 

I am now,

in the front lawn

of my house,

looking at the sun majestically,

 

watching robins

climb from branch to branch

of an old acacia tree.

there are butterflies too.

 

Simple things

that are meant to

be enjoyed.

so be happy.
