Love is hard

And sometimes you wish you were dealt another card

At one time so strong

Never did you think this could be a place you would never belong

A future being built together

A love at one time you thought would last forever

Other times you think you couldn’t be luckier

But when I see you I wish I was a little pluckier

You never let my dreams fade

A life that everyone else would think is made

But yet I’m still filled with doubt

With my unclear expression you wonder what this is about

If only I could explain

But this lie I’m living isn’t simple and plain
