Quirks of Life

ehh, short and quirky, not very descriptive, just a fun rhyming poem.

little girl,
innocent and with a soft-heart.
she thought she had fallen in love with a man
who had loved her from the start.

they shared a wonderful love,
great as she ever thought could be.
Until the day where she realized
she wasn't his only she.

her world fell apart, her heart shattered,
she promised she would never fall in love again
and she kept to herself for a long forever,
until she met another man, named Jim.

I love this because it kind of reveals the love of teens....a, "Romeo & Juliet" kind of a thing. You know, how you're mad for one person then go to another? Sorry, that's not exactly your poem, but teenage love is kind of like that..I'm rambling. But I like this, it's short, but sweet. :)
