Through your heart and soul shall your answers unfold.

There’s a buzzing in my ear which
screams at me to do something.
Be something!
Create something!
Sing something!
Eat something!

There’s a banging in my ear which
tells me to wish for something.
Wish for friendship!
Wish for love!
Wish for your magnus opus!
Wish for courage!

There’s a humming in my ear which
tells me to listen to something.
Listen to your heart!
Listen to the songbirds!
Listen to your soul!
Most importantly…
Listen to the calls emitting from your ears!

Interesting poem. To me it speaks of a hyperactive mind, but maybe it’s just the energy of youth (which I vaguely remember). I particularly liked the last stanza, liked the way you placed is ten to the songbirds between heart and soul. Great last line.

The hyperactivity was my intention! I wanted it to seem as thoughts were racing through, sparking up anticipation for the future which rests in our hands.
