New Beginnings

A Poem by Sunny

When Spring comes forth with flowers blooming with hope and joy.

New hopes arises within me
There are doubts, surely.
About the past and the future we view
In this bittersweet avenue.

Time passes and races by
In the blink of an eye.
Struggle and hardships tend to follow through,
In order for the warmth of the present to embrace you.

As Winter passes by, Spring is sure to arrive
The month in which life shall once again, thrive.
The flowers bloom and the sun spreads its wings.
As all the animals come forth to sing:

“O, Dearest of Souls,
Let us spread the word of rebirth.
‘Tis the season of new beginnings!
For we shall celebrate as the sun continues shining
on this beautiful day here on Earth.”

“Although, the little things can often lead to big surprises,
It is up to us to decide when in a crisis.
For each day is an extended hand
That we must learn to grasp
In order to understand.”
