world

walking the world,

looking for an alternative growth

a new path unexplored

taking larger steps,

following perhaps a dangerous muse 

new scenes arise,       now

       finding the true inner souls

once stolen by them

destination soon solved

    conceiving new paths

 

leading to an accepting world.

What I noticed right away was the great third verse, with its fine use of spaces between the phrases - very well done. The message speaks for itself, that`s the way the writer sees it. So a good poem with a brillant third verse.

i'm glad you noticed the spacing...i often use spacing to portray the feeling that might not come accross as clearly through the words.

~ i found my "accepting world" online and i found it on this site... right now, there are only two individuals in my real world who read what i write... my mother and the one i write for (i hear from her but not from him; he hasn't said a word about my writing since centuries)... the friends i have on this site have helped me immensely in pursuing excellence in poetic expression and in pursuing excellence as a human being...

I may have got this all wrong, But I see it as human nature..the curiosity that has managed to get us where we are today...Nothing to do with the negative side of humans but the optimism and hope coming to fruition.....

you are indeed very correct, Dr. Wood. as a society, we grow through each other thoughts, actions, motives...each second of the day.
this write is about my incentive to persue a walk in hopes of discovering something about myself that doesn't involve the family, friends in my present life. i have consumed thoughts within their world. though not a bad one..i live to discover new ones constantly.

i greatly appreciate your thoughts. thank you for the review.
