what I hope

This is about me and this guy who is slowly coming back into my life

Time spent at home

is time spent thinking of him.

daydreaming about how it used to be

what it's going to be like.

he has changed so much that

getting to know him again is going to be an adventure.

HE no longer plays the hurtful games

he no longer tells empty promises

...or at least that is what I hope.

Getting to know me again is going to be an adventure for him

because he changed me so much that Im not sure I have any of the old me left.

What I used to know...

what I used to be is no longer existing

So here I am and there he is

two different people changed for the better

or at least that is what I hope.

This was probably one of those situations where you make u had previously made up and broken up before. This is the excitement of creating a new go at it. I can't help but think it was kinda delusional. You fooling yourself into thinking things will be different. That you both changed. I hope I was wrong but that was the impression I took.

I really love the story you're trying to tell, but it seems that there is no real pattern or flow to these words and that's what makes poetry different from just words jotted on paper.
Try adding some sort of rhythm.
