trapped until forever

I am having alot of problems right now.

The walls are closing in and its getting hard to breath.

The door is stuck and the window is jammed and there is nothing left to do

but panic.

Rocking back and forth in the corner she backed into,

waiting for the walls to create her prison. Sitting and watching as everything fades away. Theres nothing left but blank and empty.

She is left with nothing but her feelings

and facing them is the only way to set her free,

so a lenghty emprisonment it will be.

I know every brick on every wall of this prison. Survival sometimes comes in many forms. This poem does a good job of relaying this dark place that we have all been to at least once in life. Nice work.

This is poignant piece of poetry. Prisoners, entrapped within the confines of our mind. The battle rages, mercy nowhere on the horizon, makes for a lonely existence.
