No Name

No Name

A Poem by boobalajcushion

I'll tell you when we met, you were the kindest I'd seen

And how I'd longed for a man like you, of that I had dreamed

You said you loved me as I had my own mind

But you disagreed with my views and picked on whatever I liked

I remember when you poked the skin between my thighs

And you asked me what it was there and said that you had never seen it before, I cried

My legs

Size six, too fat

When you told me you would not be seen in public with me

My midriff showing, shawl and hat

The day I felt happy and myself and you gave me dirty looks

For my makeup was not how you liked, a clown you said as you ridiculed

And although they all had dark hair you said you liked blonde the best

So when I changed it for a wispy grey tone you picked on the blues as they were not adept

Once told Tidy house

Tidy mind

I liked to cook, clean and launder as you reclined

But with no lust the love came from desire to chore, a mother I had become, a housewife no more

Though you fell for me when I was in my prime, makeup, hair, nails, done all the time

You asked me to change & you came to despise what I was before you arrived

So when I begin to love myself and again I try

I hold back the tears. You never wanted me to be myself and it was all a lie

At first, I though you were describing your initial relationship with a new kittin, but that is not how it ends i am sure. So sorry about this jerk in your life.
