Positive Voice

I have Anxiety and this is something I wrote to hopefully help me manage it a little better

Hello there, who are you?

Do you feel lonely and empty too?

Are you me?

With all your pain and sorrow, you'd have to be.

You struggle and scream from the inside out

But still, you are so full of doubt.

I know you can hear me and maybe you don't care,

But here I am still standing here.

We can work through this,

Just us two.

We can be strong,

Me and you.

So when your alone and oh so scared,

Know that I'll always be there.

I'm your inner strength so trust in me,

For a few minutes just breathe.

I'll show you the path to inner freedom,

Those negative emotions we don't need them.

Grasp your courage and find your faith,

With me there will always be a way.

The road to happiness isn't hard to see,

You just have to let go and be free.

I like the depth of this write...the inner voice telling you it's going to be -- if you let it come forth and the entirety of the read is in a positive light...just takes the reader in the verse and finds a way to be the person in the read itself...and what they are experiencing...

This is so ironic. I have high anxiety when it comes to heights. And your last line says: "Let go and be free." LOL That is kind of my problem you know? I have a fear of falling and then of course landing hard!
