Something I put together today

Listen to the erratic techno beat

Then something soft and sweet

Key change to a metal head’s ball

Or maybe that lonely country song you hear down the hall

Hear the different melodies swell

Hitting every note and hearing every beat

You can’t help but tap your feet

You’ll begin to sing it as it gets stuck in your head

It’s the same thing I hear every night before bed

That’s the music of my emotions, don’t you see?

We can sing it together in perfect harmony

Our voices will entwine just as our bodies do

We’ll make glorious music with our every feeling

Creating a song with so much meaning

Let’s sing it together just us two

A heartfelt song with just me and you.
