God's Grace

Something I wrote with writers block

Your words alone can heal the weak and distraught

The blind see

The deaf hear

And the mute speak

Those who were broken or damned cry out your name

As they are healed and released from their torment and despair

You are their savoir

They are your angels still searching for wings

They honor your glory and praise your name with songs

Some wonder why you took so long to appear

But others know it wasn’t your choice only theirs

But don’t you see how far they have fallen

Some so far from grace

That they feel like they will never find their place

They need you to believe in them

Just as much as you need them to believe in you

Help guide them as they follow you

And then someday

They will find their missing wings

And just for you they will sing
