Underneath the mascara,

and without the high heels and glossed lips,

I am just an average girl,

with a big heart--

searching for an average guy

with an open heart.

Monique you have shown more than just average here, you have shown a lovely heart and active mind on these pages of poetry. I think what you might want is to find a boy that is your equal in heart and mind. This makes me think of the last scene in the movie Notting Hill where they are in bliss on the park bench.
