Irish Eyes CryingA Poem by Brandee D. Hack
I wish I could remember the day that I left. Everything is a blur now, everyone's upset. My lover is gone, left in Ireland to stay. Then my heart is in those Irish Meadows I once knew like the back of my hand. The days in the States seem so out of place, that make me wonder why anyone could stay. There is so must hate in a melting pot of Christian's which are so red stained that they cannot find the beautiful violet's It's like a train without a rail. What am I doing here? These street are so bare. And the rain falls down as my eyes weep with despair. I wish you'd come for me...
