Elemental Charms

Imagery in couplets.

Everyday is the start of something beautiful.

It's like a treasure that is seemingly veiled.

Nothing will ever take those places in our minds.

Only time will be their unending trail.

Now the wind caresses in her slow way.

Whisping about in the fluorescent bouquet.

Then the flames tread along the sand

I fill that fate is it's timeless end.

Though the mist soothes the magical scene.

Everyone's spirits glow at their seams.

Then lastly the decadent story unfolds,

with the vines nurturing those who are bold.

Wow! This was an incredibly beautiful write! I loved your choice of words and thought that they were really effective in capturing the tone of the piece. The rhyming was so effortless, making this a naturally flowing, easy read. Your poem had such a magical, calming kind of aura to it and each couplet really evoked vivid images for me. :)
