Where Two Roads Meet

Where Two Roads Meet

A Poem by Brandee D. Hack
"

A Puzzle before Graduation. 10.1.10 (european date structure DD.MM.YY)

"
I look for a retreat
something where two roads meet.
I never have been able to make
something hard, a piece of cake.

Then I wonder where I will go...
Maybe to Paris, Spain, to Rome?
Nothing is ever quite to clear.
It's always been one of my fears.

I want to travel and not be bound.
Then once I look you are not around.
Everything should be easy to me,
Some say I'm selfish - I try not to be.

I only want a to see the world,
to touch someone's heart -
to to sail on a Greek boat.
I want to just simply explore!

Then I think of the time before travel
of dusty books, coffee and late nights.
Nothing will be easy from here on out.
But I guess that's no need to scream - to SHOUT!

Just take my life one step at a time,
leave all my troubles and sorrows behind.

this is an excellently done poem my only real issue with it is the rhyme the first few stanzas are flat out perfect but at the ending it seems like u lost the rhyme the flow still works but the rhyme is gone its weird because the whole thing is excellently done but because the first part is done perfectly the second part seems to be hurt because of it if that makes any sense but i could be wrong i normally am excellent work though have to read some more of ur stuff
