Embrace

Warmth encompasses your heart

but ice is mine's true fire.

The heat started burning

and now steam is shown.

One never knows

what actions it can cause.

To be alone late

with dust glazing the lake.

But I think of your wings

they shatter all the power.

Of everything I once knew

shattered at one glance.

I wish that I could see

your warm embrace,

The lovely brown eyes you have

send chills through my spine.

I never know what to expect

this heart it seems so torn.

I know what I want

but I seem to always want more.

The dream I want to see,

it stares me in the face.

Only time will tell

my heart's amazing grace.
