I Will Continue On

I never feel like I do anything right.

It always feels like an inward fight.

I'm sorry for this,

I'm sorry for that.

I apologize for being such a dingbat.

What can I say when everything I say 

is wrong?

What can I do when everything I do

makes me look like a ding dong?

I try to go on.

I try to keep being strong,

but every day is a struggle.

It feels like an unending battle.

Nevertheless, I must put on the war paint,

I don't have the time for one more complaint.

I have to find the strength to continue my life

regardless of my strife.

I must do whatever it takes to not surrender.

I cannot concede.

There is a brave warrior within me.

As difficult as it might be I will continue on

this journey.
