All Myself

All Myself

A Poem by Brianna Woodward

A perfect paradise,

just you and I.

All is quiet,

except your eyes.

They sing of life and love and us;

they paint a picture of what’s to come:

of stolen kisses, of surprise hugs,

of wiped away tears and forgotten wars,

of you and I,

but mostly love.

But then you’re gone.

And I’m just left with all myself…

Young love, how wonderful and all encompassing - you've expressed it well.
