deny is wrongful deceptive feeling that leads you to illusion

Hazy eyes blinded 

By deceptive flickering lies

Guiding them to a maze

Of suffering times

To clarify is to stop denial 
To listen with the flair of disbelief

Can lead you to the pit

Of lonely retreats

I *love* the simplicity of the words in this piece, that yet have so much depth, Latifa! "Hazy eyes blinded/By deceptive flickering lies," is one of those lifelong struggles and lessons that is difficult to learn. "To clarify is to stop denial," also makes me think of the struggle of the "ego mind" or as some say "devil." That clarification requires such consciousness from moment to moment, does it not?
