Still a Boy
A Poem by Brent
A poem about the dangers of never growing up.
He was scared of what they would call him, He was scared of what they would say. So, he put the problem off to be solved another day.
But, days turned to months. And months into years. The man was still a Boy, the greatest of his fears.
Too soft to be a shout. Too sweet to be a lime. Diving in shallow waters was his only crime.
The children and the witch, the tortoise and the hare, the Boy forever lived in stories, his world a cover bare.

Are there any famous poems that have a similar style/structure to this poem? I feel like there is, but am yet to find it and want to give due credit.

Thus, it's like a crime against society to not achieve something incredible in your life.
