Betwixt the Innermost and I

Betwixt the Innermost and I

A Poem by Daniel J. Walker
"

A deep contemplation of the innermost being, residing within one's self and the Home one seeks to find within.

"
Betwixt the Innermost and I

Resides the deepest of soul satisfaction
Coupled with an even deeper soul's transaction
Of health and Home
And the things lesser known
Though they be the foundation which hone
The mortal flesh to my enclosure

And the chalice of memories
Remissions of the greatest Being ever known

Betwixt the Innermost and I
I find my soul as. . .
Forever foretold
For I am a composer
Composing and disposing
Life as I've known it to be
