from the writers cafe.

he spoke gentle,

yet seductive words,

and opened the door

for luscious imaginings.

his mind was alive

with questions,

unbridled in their content.

i replied in innocence,

yet oddly drawn

into the enticing dialogue,

knowing it might lead

to darker,

yet strangely more alive

places.

The light, upbeat air to this contrasts the underlying draw to this man that is being conveyed. The skill of a good poet, and one especially that has charm, charisma, and Lord help you, is a gifted presenter is a strong force to be reckoned with on the receiving end... you either have to be incredibly strong or succumb to the flow of his words and enjoy the ride.
