favourite colour

this was the latest subject at writers group...

favourite colour…wg….8.5.2012

 

inspiration

comes

in waves

of colour

streaming through my cells,

vapourising into the dna

through osmosis.

coloured,

stained

with brights and darks

and all hues inbetween.

glowing

luminescence,

intangible

to the touch,

indescribable

to the word,

only felt,

and feeling so

inexpressible.

The best poets, they ignore 'rules'...nouns in proper places, verbs after adverbs with the correct spaces, it doesn't count for a damn. Just line them up so they work, so they tear at my heart.It is all about heart. This is so good.

A great description of the indescribeable. Personal favourites usually trip us up description wise as they are not thought of descriptively, they just are. great write.
