one.

well I think it’s one,

altho I hear a voice

saying ‘what about me?’

and it’s a bit too familiar.

then there’s the gang of four,

and the three musketeers,

the sacred eleven,

not to mention

the quorum, my other side,

the select few, my twin soul

and the tribal elders,

the council of wisdom

and

oh dear - far too many to mention.

 

so hopefully

I can be a fully integrated human being,

and only have one appear at a time,

altho I can feel someone shoving me

and whispering in my ear…….

thanks so much for your great review....yes i could scare myself...that list is endless of couurse as we progress thru life too. how big are your post it notes i wonder?that could be a great competition...poetry on a post it note..?????

[Distant horizons]

just as well you only had three and a half minutes to write this, any longer and you'd scare yourself....friend, lover, aunt, cousin, sister?, the list goes on forever. all we can hope is that most people see us the same way. Great write for being on the clock. it takes me that long to write a post it note :-)
