Will these memories fade away?

I know they are here to stay.

If you leave me,

I will still see,

the things you left behind,

that are etched sharply into my mind.

Tightly, I will clutch

the memory of every touch.

My head will not miss,

every kiss.

I could not stand,

losing the thought of you holding my hand.

I will think of every time you said "I love you"

and remember that you meant it too.

I will hold on to this sensation,

even though it will bring so much temptation.
