Athlete

I want to play the hardest

I want to run the farthest

I want to play the smartest

I want my muscles to be the largest

 

I want to be the best,

better than all the rest

so that nobody can protest,

I can stand the test

 

For success, I strive

I've got the drive

This makes me feel alive

At the top, I arrive

 

Playing sports doesn't make you an athlete.
