still war

still war

A Poem by lov

war is over. the sun rose again.
still, I catch myself,
sharpening my sword, polishing my armor,
ready to win, ready to fight,
but no flag waves in the wind above,
the blood has dried.
every tear, every wound,
it was worth it,
I did it out of love.

but it was still war.
