pain doesn`t have to leave scars.

I like the juxtaposition here...opposites attract and sometimes in the same line.

Many of us at some time in our lives were in unhealthy relationships; When in my thirties I was in such that was wrong enough to lead to violence. Your little poem is a punch to the gut with its description of a relationship that feels very wrong. Your last lines “for you I can bleed forever” will stick with me for a long time.

thank you so much for your words. violence should never be part of love in any kind. leaving is such a scary thing. choosing yourself while still loving the other person was one of the hardest things I`ve ever done. but also the best.
