A Poem by Bruce

Looking up at his desk
beginning to ponder
the last handful of years
lost in a photograph
taken a decade ago
on a ten year anniversary
in Aruba
his wife died of cancer
soon after his mistress joined her
the black ice in Chicago
had struck once again on LSD.
