If this is about Hulk Hogan, it brought back vivid childhood memories of watching WWF and believing in the larger-than-life personas before we knew wrestling was scripted. I was angry that I had been lied to when I found out there wasn't a Santa Claus from my mother. Although, I had suspected that was the case for a while. For my daughter, the situation was different. She was mad at me for telling her unsolicited that there was no Santa because she "liked Santa Claus."

Agreed. At least Santa Claus is a fantasy that people learn is false. I've seen so many people chase a dream and fail, never realizing it was total bs.
