UNholy MatrimonyA Poem by DavidI saw the bride of Frankenstein and thought I would write my own version.Unholy Matrimony
The clouds roll through the sky, the bride waltzes down the aisle, sparkled dress flowing behind her. A dazzled groom awaits, his sweat searing the polished floor. The clouds dissipate to a thin fog, a full moon stares back, shining through a ripped apart roof. A soiled train scrapes the cobbled floor, she stumbles forward in broken heels, mascara smearing her face; He stands stiff now, perspiration frozen to the brow. She c***s her head to the heavens, screams echo and the vultures fly away, nothing but the rings and vows await, signifying their unholy matrimony.
