A Dark Romantic Like Me

You are a dark romantic like me.

A Dark Romantic,
I think that is me.

You see I'm normal,
Ordinary and plain.

But,
I am a Dark Romantic in every way.

I may smile,
But that's probably why.

I may turn away,
Not care.

Or walk away.
I know,

That it is crule,
and unfair.

A Dark Romantic.
I am a dark person,

I do not hate life,
Nor do I hate people.

But don't you think,
I am a dark Romantic?

You probably are too.
Right now you probably think,

She's crazy,
Cruel.

She's Insane,
Mad.

No.
You are wrong.

I am just normal,
Ordinary and plain.

But when you think these thoughts,
You are just like me.

Those bad thoughts,
Make you a dark romantic.

Just like me.

just something that popped into my head. My english teacher wrote Dark Romantic on the board one day and told us to think about what it means and so I wrote it down in poem form.
