Soldier (day by day)

I hate you

               I love you

You tear me down

               You draw me in

With bitter silence

               With your kind words

You break my heart

               You mend my soul

 

And all I think of now is you

And only you can give me strength

Soldier who cries, who yearns to heal

Marksman who only aims to kill

And what am I for wanting you

As you change day by day?

 

I love you

               I hate you

You heal me

               You wound me

Your warm arms

               Your cold shoulder

God-sent medic

               Hell-bent assassin

 

Love, who will you be today?

Oh dear soldier, won't you stay...

This is how it is if you have to go out in war in battle man it can put so much terrified nightmares in their mind dreaming of the war and death it's sad for some of them not all indure this but some do and come back different don't even know who they are anymore. very powerful emotional amazing write here god bless lily
