Pool Day

Pool Day

A Poem by Caitlin Lea

The water glistens its reflection
Of sun and happiness.
The children move in waves
Touching me even when I am far away.

Laughter bounces off the water
Its round delight makes ripples
And cool liquid hits me
Wherever I am.

One good thing about water
Is that everyone is light
Like a child
Like a babe in your arms.

The best thing about water
Is that it's hard to see tears
When there's water all over your face
Already.

I love this poem. It is very happy unlike so many poems today, also it has a very good description of water. So many people love the water and swimming, so people will be able to connect with this poem as a little thing to just make them smile and brighten there day a bit
