Perfect Love

Perfect Love

A Poem by Caitlin Lea

Oh perfect love
Though yet imperfect,
How blinded I'm
Inclined to be.

Like one whose eyes
Are white and shadowed,
Who's left the walking
Stick at home

I move on forward
Oblivious to
The dangers of love
And trusting in

The very love
That could harm me.
If my eyes had
Their best function

Still I'd go on
For knowing the perils
Of this passion
Do not keep me safer.

About taking a chance; all with the thought in mind that it could turn out badly-that's what I get from this. I like the way you've expressed this emotion, it has a very interesting style to it.
