Rewrite the story of us in a new way.

I see

you walking by her,

holding her hand,

repeating

our depressing history.

My lips

start to feel all

tingly when

you kiss her

on her fingertips

like you did to me,

repeating

the story of us.

I never

thought to

imagine that we would

one day

end like this.

Your name

is forever the name

imprinted on my lips.

Because after you,

I don't want anyone elsse.

It's you that I love,

not anybody else.

Why couldn't i have

frozen time

when I was the girl

always on your mind?

The last line is very profound and I can feel everything behind it. The format works to stress each word and bring them to mind while reading this. It's another beautiful, if sad, piece.
