Quiet

I have been struggling to write again. I know there are format issues. Would love to have feedback on the style.

It’s the quiet where I can hear my thoughts

Nested feelings that inflict my view

Hidden and still discoverable

Unseen until ready

Or not

Gone.

My favorite word is "inflict" . . . I love it when a writer uses an unexpected & powerful verb instead of some bland predictable barely-actionable verb. Lively dynamic verbs can often be the lifeblood of a poem. This might be the LEAST I've ever seen a poet write about "QUIET" (thus, exemplifying your point). Some of us just can't quiet ourselves to this point, saying such a minimal amount as you do (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

All we can do is to listen to what our thoughts are telling us....and then challenge them. A great place to start is here....so you've done the hard bit...just let your thoughts run free and then let your pen do all the work! This was a great piece...and I see nothing wrong with your format.....Well Done!
