Pristinely Ungifted

Pristinely Ungifted

A Poem by Cari Lynn Vaughn
"

Unburdened by others gifts, she creates her own destiny

"

Pristinely Ungifted

Abandoned by those who would leave

her a gift    A summon to destiny

Untouched by romance and magic

The pristinely ungifted is   She

The pregnant virgin a sure sign

The symbol of wholeness and purity

Unburdened by feeling incomplete

Within her human heart utter security

Calling forth the sacred unicorn

She summons her own faith and fate

Finally free from other’s will imposed

The Holy Ghost will be her chosen mate

The pristinely ungifted gives birth

Divine inspiration her only lover still

She overflows with worlds of words

Creativity is her calling in the beautiful quill
